Back to Blogging!

It seems that I've taken a long absence from the blogosphere so if you thought I was dead don't worry I'm back. If it offers any consolation think of the extended absence as a time where I discovered what I really wanted liked and disliked in products and trust me opinions were formed!

FOTD: Beach Makeup

I don't like to wear makeup at the beach, but I feel naked without a little bit on! There are few things that I refuse to compromise on and one of them is a good base. Luckily for me my skin is clear at the moment and I can get away with only applying foundation to the center of my face. Afterwards I use a bit of bronzer on the tops of my cheeks and down my nose to give some color to my complexion. Finally I pop on a tiny bit of mascara and whip my brows into shape using a tinted brow gel and then I'm all set!

Products used:
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation
Nars bronzing powder
Loreal teloscopic mascara
Anistasia tinted eyebrow gel
Caudalie lip conditioner

My Random Wishlist

VIDCON- I always wanted to go ( probably since when was it? 2011?) but obviously before now I've been a bit too young/ my parents would've never let a 15 year old travel across the country to a random and unknown convention Parent Logic but now being a bit older and slightly wiser my parents have decided to set me loose Thank You! So i'm going to have a little jar to save up now.

Canon T3i- Yes, I've fallen for the hype. It's a canon but SMALL! It's a MINI Canon! AWBUYFBWHKFB!!!!
Ok So this particular item might not be the most justified but I have a growing passion for photography and the old DLSR my dad gave to me has expired ;( and anything mini will always tickle my fancy. DO I sound like a posh asshole? with an american accent?

Paris- Yes, I took french for 4 years in Upper School not like my pea brain was able to retain anything, because four years = I learned 'Hola como estas? muey bien'. While my french is down the drain and i'm better off just being the asian tourist I am I can't help but imagine what it would be like to stroll around tiny parisian streets and accidentally spend a shit ton of money on touristy things because I can't do the American dollar to Euro conversion for my life.

Sleazy Jane Bag- Ok, that's a great name I mean that bag has so many different purposed that she can be  USED so many times (Ok sorry for the pun attempt). Seriously that bag is so multi functional, it tickles my fancy so much I don't know what to do with myself.

Kate Spade Gramercy watch- This is definitely something I've had my eye on for a white now. I've never been particular to gold for some reason, but I've really been drawn to this particular watch maybe it's the pink spade or maybe its the light cream yellow color.

Frye Carson Pull on boots- I just love cowboy boots in general. They're like your classic brown ridding boot but with a bit of flair a little bit of kick ass. If I had to give a specific personality to ridding boots, I'd say they're cake ridding boots to me is like Cake to Fiona.

Sorry for the all text post!

REVIEW: Nars Laguna Bronzer

Oh wow, cult beauty product everyone talks about and I'm late to the reviewing party, but better late than never right?

I like this product, and it's a great contouring powder (and great for faking those cheek bones for people like me who don't have any!) and gives me a nice little tan. When I first did a test run of Laguna I was a bit nervous because I'm on the paler side ( I got a tan! and I've moved down a shade from light to light plus! I digress) and I wanted a nice touch of warmth for the summer but not an oompa loompa tan. I can proudly say that I did not get the orange skin (In my personal opinion, you have the jam the brush in the pan and muscle your way around to get so much product to make your skin orange. Then again I've been using the Elf studio blush brush to contour and that brush doesn't pick up any pigment whatsoever :P).

Yay! Crappy Iphone Photos!

While the Bronzer has the smallest amount of Shimmer in the pan, it is completely undetectable when applied onto the skin.

What's your favorite Bronzer?

Food Attempts: grilled cheese with chicken

This was the dilemma: I wanted to have grilled cheese but I also had leftovers.
The result? I got "creative" and made some grilled cheese with chicken! All I did was use a classic grilled cheese recipe except Instead of American cheese I used leftover Mexican styled cheese and roasted chicken. Yum!
I dub this attempt successful.

Did you ever make grilled cheese and chicken? Tell me about it or tell me about another time you got creative with leftovers!
